weekly wrap-up : finallyyyy, a reunion!

This past week, I had the joy of visiting with Kelsey + Jordyn in BC!! Finally, the p.s. heart girls were united! :) We had a ridiculously amazing time (as you can see in the picture above...hehe)  + we took a million photos, did more thrifting than was probably healthy for my wallet, went to Bard on the Beach, hit up Fort Langley, ate so much good food I won't have to eat for a week, and in general we just partied it up. 

Best. Week. Ever.

Keep your eyes peeled from more photoshoots that we did together, but for now, enjoy this little peek into our fun-packed week together!

weekly wrap-up : auntie time

I am so blessed to have married into an incredibly loving, fun, crazy, and big family!! Caleb and I went on a week-long trip to Manitoba for a wonderful family get-together, and the result was this: a lot of crazy awesome times with all seven of our ridiculously adorable nieces and nephews. Hence, all these adorable photos of cute, dirty kiddos that we love very dearly (and already miss dearly!). 

But seriously, I have the cutest nieces and nephews. I'm a very blessed auntie :)

These kids are the best and we had an absolute blast!

And just to prove that I have the best husband ever.... while on a walk, he picked me a little bouquet of wildflowers! So sweet and thoughtful :) He knows me so well. All of these little beauties are now pressed between my Bible to remind me of how blessed I am to be living life with this wonderful man.

weekly wrap up : mountains & music

Oh dear, where to even start! This week has been absolutely packed full to the brim for me... I kicked it off with a trip to Jasper National Park, where I was shooting an engagement shoot - so Caleb and I made a little getaway out of it and went snowboarding with my clients (so fun! I have the best job ever), ate lots of yummy food, stayed at a cozy little church, went snowshoeing, and enjoyed the beauty of God's creation! It feels like its been ages since we've been in the mountains, so this was such a treat for us! 

The rest of the week has been me being sick =( ...studying, writing papers, editing photoshoots, and then hitting up a great evening of wonderful music here in Edmonton at a local place called The Artery. A tad sketchy looking, but our friends were playing and it was such fun! Go check White Lightning's stuff on youtube, I promise they won't disappoint :)

weekly wrap-up : worship

So this week has been packed full with amazing things! I had the absolute privilege of having 2 weekends full of worship and wonder. First, I joined my church's young adults group at the beautiful Camp Nakamun for a weekend of games, snowy landscapes, worship, some hcore water polo, and just building new friendships and affirming old ones. The last couple days I've been at Breakforth Canada, enjoying amazing speakers like Francis Chan, and incredible musicians like Paul Baloche, Kari Jobe, and Casting Crowns. Needless to say, I am in desperate need for some slowing down, but I am seriously so full of joy, awe, and excitement right now! 

God is good.
