diy : washi tape clothespin magnets

I saw this cute and simple DIY first at my dear friend's house while visiting, so I knew I just had to share it on the blog! As an avid lover of washi tape, this DIY is seriously wonderful.
What You Need:  washi tape, a glue gun, scissors clothespins, and magnet strips
Instructions:
1. Cut out your washi tape to fit your clothespins.
2. Tape on your strips of washi tape. Mix it up! I mixed up two different types of washi tape to make my clothespins more festive :)
3. Glue gun on your magentic strips to the back of your clothespins
4. Let dry, then enjoy your new fridge magnets!
Aren't they lovely? I left some without magnets to use as well and I just love how this simple DIY really brightens up my fridge and my photo wall! Enjoy :)

diy : simple, no-sew lace headband

I love lace. This may be highly apparent to you, since us ladies at p.s.heart have a rather overwhelmingly large number of posts that include lace...and really, we're totally guilty of a slightly out-of-control lace obsession and we'll be the first to admit it! So there, I admit that I am a little obsessed with lace, but without this obsession, this adorable DIY wouldn't be coming your way. So really, you're welcome. Now enjoy this ridiculously simple and awesome DIY.
Supplies Needed:  lace (of course!), a couple hair elastics, and a glue gun.
Instructions.
1. Measure out your lace by wrapping it around your head. (I used enough lace that it would just barely touch when I wrapped it around my head!)
2. Fold your lace over your elastics and glue gun it so that your lace is firmly folded over onto itself. Repeat this for both sides of your piece of lace.
3. Let your glue dry, make sure your lace isn't going to just rip right off, and then voila!

You're done.

Yep. It's really that simple.
Again, you're welcome.
Enjoy this lovely summery accessory!

diy : sea treasures candle jars

On my recent trip to Korea, we were constantly by the seaside since S.Korea is a peninsula! I absolutely loveeee the ocean and warm sandy beaches, so this was just heaven to me. One morning in Busan, Caleb and I spent a relaxing morning walking along the beach and we started to collect pretty little shells that caught our eyes and I absolutely fell in love with seaglass. I know, I know....it comes from old beer bottles that people threw away, but seriously, it is beautiful!

I love all the different shades of the ocean that I found in my collection of seaglass and it looks lovely in this super simple and cost-effective way of remembering a special trip.

1. collect seaglass, seashells, or any other sea treasures you come across while enjoying the seaside!
2. take your glass jars, fill them up with your seaside treasures and place a tea light in the centre

aaaand that's it! enjoy your pretty souvenir at home!
